We pride ourselves on being passionate about early childhood education and play based learning. We believe that our centre is our own little community in which we work as partners with our families.
At Early Learning Centre Summer Pines we promote multiculturalism, celebrating each family and their cultures, valuing parent input and encouraging families to be active participants in their child’s learning. We offer a weekly curriculum, which is based on the Early Years Learning Framework. We observe the children while they are busy in their play and design our curriculum areas on those observations. It is stimulating and flexible where children are encouraged to take responsibility for their own decisions, while providing them with the opportunities to develop to their full potential socially, emotionally, physically and mentally.
Our centre incorporates age-specific learning rooms to ensure each child is learning at their level. Our onsite chef provides healthy meals and snacks for the children in our care each day. We also have a vegetable garden that the children tend to, teaching them about the importance of environmental sustainability and responsibility.
We want to play a special part in your child’s life as we connect with them and your family, build trust and relationships while collaborating with you to celebrate special events and allowing your child to gain a strong sense of belonging within our centre.
